Paul is a Hertz Fellow pursuing his PhD degree in Electrical Engineering at MIT. He is interested in developing new technologies to address fundamental issues in neuroscience at the synaptic, neuronal and neural circuit levels. Paul completed a degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Southern California in 2003 and several years later, instead of going to law school, completed another undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley in Electrical and Materials Engineering.
