Sunanda is sophomore pursuing a major in biology and a minor in music. Previously, she has worked on projects focused on the behavioral deficits found in neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism. In the Boyden Lab, her project focuses on understanding neural circuitry involved in functions such as emotion and memory, using optogenetic technology.
