Tania grew up in Mountain View, California and is currently a sophomore at MIT. She is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and minoring in Biomedical Engineering and is interested in the intersection of these two fields. She is currently working with opsin molecules in the Synthetic Neurobiology group.
